Doctors & Staff

Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Infocus Eye Care a proud provider of vision care products and services in Colorado Springs.

Jason Leonhardt, O.D.

Dr. Leonhardt graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelors degree in biology with a minor in biomedical sciences in 2011. He further pursued his optometric education at Midwestern University Arizona College of Optometry (AZCOPT) and graduated with honors as a Doctor of Optometry in 2015. Dr. Leonhardt returned to his home state of Colorado and after working for local optometrists for several years decided to open his own practice to better treat his patients and give them the time and care they deserve. He opened Infocus Eye Care in Colorado Springs during the summer of 2019 where he is happily seeing patients to this day.

During his time at AZCOPT, Dr. Leonhardt was active in many extracurricular activities. He served the class council for many years as class representative to better structure the school to meet the needs of the students. Dr. Leonhardt was an active member in Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity(SVOSH), a volunteer group that travels to less fortune countries to provide aid. AZCOPT participated in annual mission trips to Senora Mexico to perform eye exams and give treatment to those in need. Later was elected by his peers to become president of SVOSH and ultimately developed a passion for helping other see as best as they possibly can, regardless of financial or social standings. After achieving top tier grades, he was inducted into the BSK honor society for optometry students and graduated as secretary of the society.

While attending optometry school in Arizona he met his future wife Karen and in 2017 became a loving and happy Husband. Together they are home to two lovely dogs Winston and Daisy. On their free time together, they enjoy going to the movies, staying up late playing board games, and attending local concerts and breweries.

Stephen Podrasky

Originally from Byers, CO our Lab and Optical Manager Stephen brings a great deal of expertise to Infocus Eye Care.  Stephen graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 2012 and in 2015, after a stint in Law Enforcement, began his career optics.  Since 2015 Stephen has held several positions of increasing responsibility within the optical industry and has also completed an optical apprenticeship program that saw him certify at five different levels of expertise within an optical lab, certifying at the Master level in 2017.  He currently lives in Colorado Springs and enjoys going to concerts, reading and spending time with his wife Heather, son Liam and two dogs Isabelle and Watson.

Danielle

DanielleBorn and raised in Colorado Springs, Danielle is a true native to the area. She loves helping patients and one day strives to become a nurse to best serve Colorado Springs. As our Optometric Technician and Receptionist, Danielle greets all of our patients with a welcoming smile and really makes them feel at home when visiting Infocus Eye Care. In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors and caring for her children.
